Q: What Hospitals do the Doctors work at?

A: The doctors see babies and admit patients to Community Memorial Hospital and St Johns Regional Medical Center. Dr White also maintains privledges at VCMC.

Q: What insurance do you accept?

A: We currently accept most major PPOs and any HMO through Seaview IPA. We also accept Ventura County Health Care Plan. If you have a plan that you believe Dr White does not have a contract with please contact our billing department for assitance. When you register for an online account you can view a complete list of  contracted plans.

Q: What is your refund policy?

A: Payment of professional fees is due at the time of service.  Internet communication may not be covered by insurances. If it is covered, then it is the patient responsibility to file claims for internet based services with their carrier.  If Surfside Pediatrics receives monies from a third party in compensation for office charges previously paid by the patient, a patient refund will be generated within 30 days of receipt.

Q: What are the benifits of setting up an online account

A: through you online accout you can request appointments, pay your bill, and view patient specific information. Soon you will be able to send secure emails to the staff and doctors at our practice.

Q: I am new parent or parent to be (or we are looking for a new pediatrician) and I would like to find out more about your practice

A: Dr White would be please to set up a prenatal or "get to know us" visit where you can meet the doctors and our staff and ask us questions directly. Please contact the front desk to arrange this.
